ところが応じていただける議員がいませんでしたので、5月23日、再度、以下の要請文を野党国会議員にFAXとメールで送付しました。

4月23、24の両日にわたりお送りした要請文「小選挙区制を見直す集会へ参加のお願い」はお読みいただけましたでしょうか。
与野党の一部からは相変わらず政界再編へ向けたと思われる動きが伝えられています。例えば、平沼赳夫氏は、「自民、民主の橋渡し」を目指した保守系新党の結成を公然と示唆しています。いわば「大連立を見かけ上の野党の立場」から促進しようとする動きといえます。
こうした誘いを野党が断固拒否するという空気は伝わってきていません。平沼氏の動きは、野党の信頼性を損なう働きといえ、そのような誘いに野党が動くならば、有権者は再度、野党に対して不信の目を向けることになるのではないでしょうか。
最近言われだしている選挙制度改定は、こうした政界再編がらみの思惑、ないしは自公の生き残りを狙いとしたものと思われ、民意を反映したものではありません。
有権者が野党に期待しているのは、民意を反映した政権交代です。そのためには、野党を分断し、民意をゆがめ、自公に勝利をもたらす小選挙区制を廃止し、同時に、大連立や自公延命のための選挙制度改定をも阻む必要があります。
改めて、小選挙区制を見直す集会へのご参加を検討していただきたく思います。よろしくお願い申し上げます。

私も小選挙区制は反対だけど、この要請文はいただけない。
何で野党議員にしか送らないの？。
例え無駄でも全国会議員に送るのが本筋。野党議員だけに
送る事は差別でしかない。それは公の精神に反する。
公の制度を考える時に公の精神から外れて差別意識で考えて、
正当な制度など出来ようもない。
